# Celero

Connect Celero through Hyperswitch.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Alpha connector, not in the control center.** Celero is not offered in the Hyperswitch control center, so there is no activation form to fill in; arrange setup with the Hyperswitch team instead. It is also at alpha integration status, so reach out on the [Slack Community](https://inviter.co/hyperswitch-slack) to check where it stands before you build on it.
{% endhint %}

Celero routes credit and debit card payments through its API. There are no webhooks, so payment status comes from syncing rather than callbacks.

### Status and capabilities

**Integration status:** alpha

**Category:** payment gateway

**Webhook flows:** None declared in code

### Authentication

Celero requires one credential: the **Celero API Key**, obtained when you set up an account at <https://celerocommerce.com/>. The key is sent as the `Authorization` header value without a `Bearer` prefix. The dashboard label is defined in [`[celero.connector_auth.HeaderKey]`](https://github.com/juspay/hyperswitch/blob/ec9d1d22bf0257b7de4d4d8bbba4e27fd520bdf7/crates/connector_configs/toml/sandbox.toml#L1821-L1823); the accepted auth shape is [`CeleroAuthType`](https://github.com/juspay/hyperswitch/blob/ec9d1d22bf0257b7de4d4d8bbba4e27fd520bdf7/crates/hyperswitch_connectors/src/connectors/celero/transformers.rs#L358-L373), and the header is built in [`get_auth_header()`](https://github.com/juspay/hyperswitch/blob/ec9d1d22bf0257b7de4d4d8bbba4e27fd520bdf7/crates/hyperswitch_connectors/src/connectors/celero.rs#L118-L129).

### Before you start

1. Set up a Celero account at <https://celerocommerce.com/> and obtain the **Celero API Key**.
2. Contact the Hyperswitch team to configure Celero because it is not listed in the control center.

### Webhooks

Webhooks are not supported for Celero. The connector does not implement incoming webhook handling, so there are no callbacks to configure or verify. To track payment status, use the payment sync (status check) API through Hyperswitch. Refund status works the same way: refund sync is implemented via Celero's transaction search endpoint, so use the refund status check API rather than waiting for callbacks. See the [webhook interface stubs](https://github.com/juspay/hyperswitch/blob/ec9d1d22bf0257b7de4d4d8bbba4e27fd520bdf7/crates/hyperswitch_connectors/src/connectors/celero.rs#L707-L731) and the [refund sync implementation](https://github.com/juspay/hyperswitch/blob/ec9d1d22bf0257b7de4d4d8bbba4e27fd520bdf7/crates/hyperswitch_connectors/src/connectors/celero.rs#L626-L657) in the connector source.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.hyperswitch.io/integrations/connectors-integrations/payment-processor-capabilities/available-connectors/celero.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
